Jalapeno Chiles (Capsicum Annuum) are flakes of the whole Jalapeno Pepper. The Jalapeno Pepper is named after the town of Jalapa in the state of Veracruz in Mexico. The Jalapeno is bright to dull green in color, if left on the vine to mature the Jalapeno will turn red. Use diced Jalapeno in enchilada sauces, chili, stews, and salsas. 5000 H.U. Organic.
