Heavy and perfectly stable, Emile Henry's new mortar guarantees excellent stability for grinding without having to hold it firmly.
Ergonomic handling of the pestle, which calls for strength - that of grinding, crushing, crumbling - with confidence.
The inside of the mortar as well as the end of the pestle are slightly rough in order to grip the food and crush it easily against the wall.
The pestle is made of ceramic and has a birch wood handle. Also designed for its aesthetics, it sports a pretty matte black color and semi-rounded edges.
