Learn the basics of preserving in small batches!  Let Chef show you that you don't need a backyard garden or a cold cellar to enjoy your favourite fresh local bounties all year long!

Chef Miller will begin by sharing his signature recipe for Pickled Chow Chow made from locally harvested vegetables deliciously paired with Jerk Chicken featuring Pepper Tree Spice Jamaican Jerk Seasoning for you to enjoy. During this class filled with recipes, Chef will demonstrate several techniques and methods for preserving a range of vegetables and local fruits!  

Each participant receives a copy of America's Test Kitchen award winning Fool Proof Preserving (Value $30) and a jar of Chef's Pickled Chow Chow to enjoy and inspire you at home!
